Oh, so much to tell about Jim…He is a graduate of Sultan High School, he is a health nut, he was the President of the Snohomish Chapter of the Land Surveyors Association of Washington (LSAW) and he is very well-versed in FEMA flood mapping issues.

Jim McDaniel, PLS Principal Surveyor
Jim is a senior surveyor specializing in residential subdivisions, surveys for Elevation Certificates and Letters of Map Amendments, right-of-way determination, section breakdowns, and Government Land Office (GLO) surveying issues. He is very familiar with the extensive history of survey problems that exist in the region and has the expertise and research skills required to resolve them. He also has excellent relationships with personnel within local jurisdictions.
Jim is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Washington and California. His experience spans the states of Washington, Oregon, California, and Utah. Jim is the current treasurer and a past President of the Snohomish Chapter of the Land Surveyors Association of Washington (LSAW) and is a past member of the state Board of Directors for the LSAW. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 1979. Jim joined H&AI in 1987. |
