Senior Surveyor
Jim has over 38 years of experience in the surveying field. His expertise includes conducting boundary, topographic, aerial control, and construction surveys and mapping. Work includes subdivisions, boundary line adjustments, elevation certificates, and Global Positioning System surveys particularly throughout the Skagit areas.
Jim operated his own surveying company in Stanwood, WA for over 20 years before joining forces with HARMSEN. This experience has supplied Jim with a strong understanding of meeting the scope, schedule, and cost expectations of projects. His policy regarding surveying services is that they must be complete, correct, appropriate to the findings of the research and physical evidence, and accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Jim is a Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS) through the Bureau of Land Management. His training, certification, and continued education in this program help ensure surveys comply with federal regulations and policies. Jim is qualified to execute boundary surveys on or near federal interest lands, to federal standards.
