Arboriculture

In 2002, Harmsen & Associates, Inc. added Arboricultural services under our Landscape Architecture Department to provide our clients with a seamless design process.  We observed a growing need for the services of a Certified Arborist in many of our projects and the increasing requirement for this service by government agencies.   

Our Landscape Architecture division has an extensive background in the study and care of trees and has attained all credentials to practice as a certified arborist.  Certified arborists provide a range of consulting services from hazard tree evaluations to expert witness testimony. 

The Arborist Certification program is a voluntary effort among professionals in the tree care industry to establish a meaningful standard of quality in arboricultural work, to promote and encourage continuing education, and to provide the public with a mechanism for identifying qualified professionals.

Arborist Services Include:

    •  Hazard tree assessment

    •  Plans and specifications for tree retention and preservation

    •  Tree inspections

    •  Tree inventories and analysis

    •  Restoration planting plans

    •  Tree selection and planting plans
