Harmsen & Associates, Inc. is experienced working in rural areas, towns, and large metropolitan areas. We are centrally located with offices in Monroe and in Oak Harbor. We opened in Monroe, Washington in 1974, and in Oak Harbor, WA in 1965. We remain in both cities today. Our land use professionals work throughout the state of Washington and into Oregon.

June 2008 - Purchased Meriwether Leachman & Associates, Inc. in Bothell
2009 - Became part of design team to design a “Living Building” for Snohomish School District's
Valley View Middle School
Among the first sustainable projects of its kind nation wide
2009 - Performed site civil design for Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, Navy Washrack
2010 - Completed work on Si View Metropolitan Park in North Bend
Harmsen & Associates is a full scope, land use planning, civil engineering, surveying and landscape architectural firm.
We work throughout Washington State. Areas we work most regularly in include: King County, Snohomish County, Island County, and Skagit County. We work from the Tri-Cities to Aberdeen and from Oregon to Bellingham. We have extensive survey data to provide enhanced value to many communities in these counties. Our Civil Engineers are familiar with the local laws, topography, geology throughout our Puget Sound region.
We regularly work with a wide variety of industries and public entities throughout the state.
